Interests: I am a poet, a thinker and a musician. I write poetry when I am inspired or experiencing some intense emotion; I think too much (which naturally makes me a bit of a worrier, but is good in a way that I know my opinions and I'm prepared for most things!); I LOVE music! All types! I play guitar (acoustic), and I own a LOT of CDs: from Abba to Green Day, from Barber to Dido, from The Beatles to Travis. I only wish I could write music too...

:: how jedi are you? ::

Saturday, June 01, 2002

Hello peeps! I hope everyone is cool!

I'm in the computer room (obviously! ) and waiting for my washing to dry at the launderette, so I thought I'd write on here. No stopping me now exams are over!! Hehe!

Went out last night. Skool Daze (dress up as school kids disco) was really fun. Got a little drunk, but not unbearably, just enough to relax and enjoy the evening. AND I stayed until the end (1:30am) which is rare for me! Spent the whole night dancing with my friend James who is a right laugh and just forgot the time!

Matt's started work again for P&OStenaLine today. He's happy because he's back at work (££££!!!!), but they stuck him on a freight ship where most of the crew are French! It wouldn't be a problem except he can't speak a word of French (well none past "Ou est le cinema?" anyway!!! Hehe!). It's a 12 hour shift (allegedly, means 14!!) so I won't find out how it went until at least 11:30 tonight! I hope it went ok for him!!

Have a mentioned I'm moving unis? I'm going to the University of Kent as of September to do my big love-subject of English and American Literature. I tried to do it but stay here, but got no reply, so, YES, I'm gonna go to the same uni as Matthew!!!

Anyway, gonna go and get my washing. Thanks Xapis for the comment and KEEP SMILING EVERYBODY!!!

Take care. xxx

Long time no hear!

I've finally got a little time to update...

Saw About A Boy, I Am Sam and Episode 2:Return of the Clones in the past few weeks. All really good. Episode 2 is great, and Yoda is the man!!!! But what was that love story? Bleuurrrrghhhhh!!! I Am Sam was touching, and About A Boy was amusing, definitely worth seeing!

I don't expect anyone remembers me going to Europe many moons ago?! Well I'll tell you about it anyway:
Paris: was Paris. Been there before, still the same. Weather was crap, but was nice.
Barcelona: Wow!!! The Sagrade de Familia was breathtaking! The weather was 28C and sunny which was great. What a city!! Mmm mmm!!!
Nice: Ok. A little short of things to do, but pleasant. Led us to make a daytrip to
Monaco: Gorgeous, rich, warm, VERY nice, clear blue sea... Lovely!
Rome: Erm, two words COMMUNIST PROTEST. And 2million protestors. Vatican was impressive though, and when we eventually saw everything else past the protesters, I suppose it was impressive. 2million protestors and Italian men feeling you up does NOT make happy sightseeing!
Florence: Pleasant. Forgettable, but pleasant. The Ponte Vecchio was nice, and the gardens were too.
Venice: I LOVED it here! As I imagined it would be: CANALLY!!! Haha! Great romantic place, shame my love wasn't there!
Vienna: Pretty, a bit boring though. Not bad.
Munich: Stayed there less than 24 hours. Loved it, will go back. There's this park there where I decided to split up with David. It was great though, made me realise I needed someone to appreciate the beauty of it all.
Zurich: Gorgeous, but expensive. Met cool people here and we had a great laugh. Shame we only stayed one night!
Amsterdam: Go there! If you ever go anywhere GO TO AMSTERDAM! It will open your eyes. Met fab people there, and laughed the whole time I was there... AND didn't touch the pot! I'm a saint! Hahaha!
Europe was great. I really enjoyed it. Was knackered by the end, but me and Becky only fell out once in Vienna! Couchettes (beds on trains) are hell, and if you ever travel, make sure you get on with whoever you're travelling with! I would do it again, and I wouldn't be scared to do it alone next time.

So, as Retrovertigo knows, I have a new man... SORT OF! I went out with Matt for 2 years a year ago, and we got back together. We never stopped loving eachother I don't think, I just needed to grow up. Now I have, I'm ready for him , and I know we're going to be happy together. We've both changed, but we seem more alike, but not too alike. He's great...

Me and Dave have fallen out in the last few weeks because he texted me every day, and if I didn't get the text because I left my phone at home, he'd send texts asking why I was ignoring him, etc. etc. and I couldn't handle it, so we're not in contact anymore. It's horrible, but that's the way it must be I'm afraid.

And that, as they say, is that. Hope I didn't bore you all!

Oh, and according to Humanforsale.com I'm worth $1,772,658.00! That's not that much! Ah well...

See ya guys, hope all is well with exams etc.
